3.  BA-AHCC DEGREE AWARD REQUIREMENT

To be eligible for the award of the BA-AHCC Degree, students must have:

  • completed and obtained a Grade D or above on at least 126 credits (41 modules), including all core modules;
  • obtained a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0;
  • fulfilled the language competency exit requirement;
  • fulfilled the Information Technology competency exit requirement; and
  • fulfilled the requirements of Community Services (20 hours), Extra-curricular Activities (10 hours) and Physical Activities (10 hours), within the course of the Programme.

Exit RequirementAll degree students are required to attempt the IELTS examination and achieve a score of 6.0 or above before their final year of study.

If a student fails to satisfy the above requirement, he/she is required to take and pass an English enhancement module offered by the Department of English in their final year of study.		All degree students are required to attempt the Putonghua Proficiency Test (普通話水平測試) and to attain the level of 三級乙等 or above before their final year of study.

If a student fails to satisfy the above requirement, he/she is required to take a Putonghua enhancement module offered by the Department of Chinese in their final year of study.
