Chris Y T Ma received his BEng in Computer Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004; MPhil in Computer Science and Engineering from Tthe Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006; and PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA in 2010. Before joining HSMC, he was a technical specialist at Bloombase Technologies Ltd, and a postdoctoral researcher at Advanced Digital Sciences Center, Illinois at Singapore.
