Ms Chow holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design and a Master of Design, specialised in Design Education with distinction, from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a full member of the Chartered Society of Designers. She now participates in the teaching of varied continuing education programmes on a part-time basis. Some of those postgraduate programmes partner with overseas universities. Her teaching focuses on, but not limited to, research methods for design, as well as design and innovation strategy.
